Driver CPC is designed to enhance the existing knowledge and skills of drivers to ensure that they continue to be safe, courteous and drive in an environmentally friendly manner. Logistics Training Services have been delivering Driver CPC for over 6 years and all our courses are delivered by drivers to drivers. Our DCPC Instructors have over 20 years’ experience within the logistics industry including driving nationwide as well as delivering the course.
DCPC is aimed at all existing bus, coach and lorry drivers. Having acquired a license, a driver holding LGV / HGV (C1, C, C + E) or PCV / PSV (D1, D, D + E) will have to undertake 35 hours of training every five years to ensure that their Driver CPC is current and they hold a Drivers Qualification Card (DQC). Only courses that have been approved by the Joint Approvals Unit for Periodic Training (JAUPT) will count towards the Periodic Training requirement.
Before beginning any Driver CPC training with ourselves, we require a copy of a valid photo card Driving Licence or DQC card. If you have a paper licence we would also require a copy of your passport. This can be provided prior to the course date however, must be brought with you on each day of attendance.
Training is, of course, a great benefit to any company, but can be an inconvenience to everyday operations. We work with you to ensure that you get the best from the course modules, while causing the least amount of disruption to your operation. Our experts will also spend time planning on how we can incorporate any bespoke company training into the syllabus. Though we’re based in Sheffield, the trainers at Logistics Training Services Ltd can reach you anywhere in the UK.
At Logistics Training Services, we are able to deliver various modules of the Driver CPC course. All modules taught cover buses and lorries.
