All operators should be trained to a recognised standard

Forklift Training

Without a doubt, forklift trucks are an essential tool in our industries, allowing operators to handle and move large amounts of goods quickly and easily. However, these are extremely dangerous and according to the HSE, account for around 25% of all workplace transport accidents with most incidents relating to poor standards of training and/or supervision. Accidents can result in serious injuries or in extreme cases death. Incidents that don't result in injuries or fatalities can have a serious implication for business, through damage to equipment, goods and buildings.

This is why here at Logistics Training Services we follow the same philosophy as RTITB and believe all operators should be trained to a recognised standard. We believe passionately that safe working practices are crucial to ensuring the Health & Safety of everybody working with or around MHE equipment and that risks should always be minimised. This responsibility falls to operators, supervisors and managers. We feel that it is important you are supported in this and our job is to help you make sure training provision is robust and effective, not just at the start of an operator’s career, but the whole journey. This is why we started Logistics Training Services and chose to become a member of the biggest accrediting body for our industry; RTITB. In doing so, we can pride ourselves over the services and training we provide and have full confidence that our customers will leave with full knowledge and enough skill in order to safely operate the relevant forklift truck.

We can conduct training on a variety of forklifts
